The State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) hosted during the period 23–25 September 2025 the working visit of the delegation of the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) of Romania, held at the AGEPI headquarters in Chisinau.
The visit aimed to strengthen the technical and operational capacities of the experts of the two offices through an exchange of best practices regarding the use of innovative IT solutions in the activity of intellectual property administration, in the context of digitalization processes.
During the visit, discussions focused on topical topics regarding the integration of Blockchain technologies and artificial intelligence in the work of intellectual property offices, the management of IT heritage, the digitalization of trademark and industrial design examination processes, the use of Front-Office and Back-Office applications, the protection of personal data, and the development of electronic services and the optimization of institutional web portals.
The event was attended by heads of subdivisions and IT specialists from AGEPI and OSIM, the exchange of opinions and experiences contributing to the consolidation of the partnership between the two institutions and the exploitation of cooperation opportunities.
The visit concluded with the expression of mutual commitment to continue cooperation and develop joint projects, oriented towards the digital transformation of intellectual property services in the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
