On 6 December this year, in the Conference Hall of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will be held the Training Seminar for judges entitled “Peculiarities of Dispute Resolution Related to the Protection of Intellectual Property”. The event is organized by AGEPI in cooperation with the National Institute of Justice.
The aim of the seminar is to examine the judicial practice on litigation in the IP field in recent years.
The seminar will be attended by the Director General of AGEPI Lilia Bolocan, leadership of the National Institute of Justice, AGEPI experts, and magistrates of the Center, Riscani District Court and Chisinau Court of Appeal.
At the meeting, according to the program, will be discussed current topics focused on the enforcement of intellectual property rights, including disputes on copyright and related rights; disputes on the defense of exclusive rights on industrial property objects; disputes on the nullity of registrations of industrial property objects; disputes on the finding of trademark notoriety; disputes on the control of unfair competition, etc.
The participants in the seminar will have the opportunity to exchange experience and information on issues of effective exercise of intellectual property rights and will take cognizance of various case studies in the field.
