In the period 26-27 June 2015, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) organized a training course for small and medium-sized enterprises in the republic in the field of promotion of innovations. The training took place within the project “Innovative Business Development for Sustainable Local Economic Growth”, implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and Orange.
The thematic sessions were moderated both by experts and businessmen, so the participants had the opportunity to take over best practices in the process of promotion of innovations in the SME sector, the development of business strategies for innovations and funds for promotion of innovations in SMEs.
Appreciating the importance of the event and to inform SME representatives about the role of intellectual property in economic development of the enterprise and to develop the skills of SME managers on effective management of IP rights held in order to increase competitiveness of products and services promoted both on domestic and external market, the State Agency on Intellectual Property attended the event and disseminated to the participants a set of information materials on the role of IP for economic development of enterprises.
Also, in accordance with the training program, Mr. Iurie Badir, Head of the Economics and Finance Direction of AGEPI delivered a lecture on management of intellectual property at the enterprise, providing the participants consultations and answers to various questions in the field of protection and use of IP objects.
On June 26 this year was officially launched the platform www.inobiz.md – a unique portal that offers current news, consultancy, training and financing possibilities to businessmen wishing to apply innovations.
