The representatives of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on March 23 in an information seminar in the field of intellectual property organized for students of the National College of Commerce of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (AESM).

The purpose of the event was to promote and disseminate information on the national intellectual property (IP) system and to strengthen knowledge in the field of IP among students.

During the seminar, Andrei Moisei, Principal Consultant, AGEPI Communication and Training Division, spoke to students about aspects related to the management of intellectual property objects, the specifics of accounting and their evaluation, the difficulty of perceiving the immaterial nature of these objects, and their relationship in relations with material products. General topics regarding the need, advantages and ways of their protection, competitive phenomena in the field of business were also discussed.

The event ended with a question and answer session. Finally, the participants were satisfied with the information presented by the AGEPI specialist and were interested in participating in such information seminars.
