The European Patent Office (EPO) is organizing from 2 to 5 November the Patent Knowledge Week. The event will take place online and aims to disseminate patent information to promote innovation and economic development of countries.

Patent Knowledge Week offers a varied program for specialists in the field, with interactive rounds of discussions and plenary sessions focused on:

• The transition from patent information towards patent knowledge
• The added value of the patent landscape, analytical and statistical data
• Legal aspects and patent information in the context of patent searches for patent seekers.

The event is dedicated to both persons with knowledge in the field of patents, such as patent attorneys and other patent information specialists and companies, including SMEs, university and academic sector, other persons interested in using patent information to increase their success in activity. The event will also address the challenges faced by users of Asian patents, including through the use of databases of national offices to monitor innovation activity in Asia.
