The working visit of the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) delegation, represented by the experts Mariana Hahue, Mariana Muscalu, Adrian Negoita and Adriana Aldescu took place from 18 to 20 September 2018 at the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).

The purpose of the visit was to provide an exchange of experience on intellectual property (IP) pre-diagnosis services and on the examination of patentability criteria. During three days, OSIM experts met with the leadership of AGEPI, as well as had bilateral discussions with experts of AGEPI departments.

Experts of the Marketing, Technological Transfer Support and Intellectual Property Counselors Registry Service of OSIM made a documentary and information visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and two visits to enterprises to provide support services in the field of intellectual property and IP pre-diagnosis.

Experts of the Patent Directorate of OSIM had discussions with the experts of the AGEPI Patents Department on issues related to the European patent validation procedures and aspects related to the examination of the criterion of patentability of inventions.

The working visit took place in the context of the Cooperation Program between AGEPI and OSIM, whose main purpose is the exchange of experience on the procedures for examination and registration of intellectual property objects.
