The meeting of the Commission for Examination of Applications for the Grant of Permission to Use the Official or Historical Name of the State in the Trademark/Industrial Design took place on May 31, in online format, chaired by Eugeniu Rusu, Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property, President of the Commission.

As a result of the examination, it was decided to grant permission to use the official or historical name of the state in the industrial design: .

The applicant of the permission uses the industrial design “Bottle” for the products manufactured by the enterprise Buket Moldavii, a closed joint-stock company.

In accordance with the legislation in force, trademarks, industrial designs and models containing the official or historical name of the State may be registered only with the consent of the Commission for Examination of Applications for the Grant of Permission to Use the Official or Historical Name of the State in the Trademark/Industrial Design, whose activity is regulated by Government Decision No. 8/2022.
