Today, June 9 within the premises of the Palace of the Republic was held the Business Ideas Gala, an event in which were awarded the best business plans of young people who want or have already started a business.
The event organized by the National Association of Young Managers of Moldova (ANTiM) was attended by representatives from partner institutions of the contest: Argidius Foundation (Switzerland), with the support of Moldova Agroindbank, SME Sector Development Organization (ODIMM), State Agency on Property Intellectual (AGEPI), Association of Business Women (AFAM), mass media representatives, etc.
We want to mention that the State Agency on Intellectual Property participated for the first time as a partner in this contest, being part of the jury members, and giving a special award in the Business Ideas Gala. AGEPI in this contest aimed at supporting creative and innovative ideas of young people, strengthening efforts for improvement/training of young entrepreneurs in the field of intellectual property and for awareness of the benefits in this field.
Present at the ceremony, Mrs. Lilia Bolocan, Director General of AGEPI congratulated the finalists of the Contest for their courage to participate in the contest, self-abnegation in achieving the proposed business plans, but also for the perseverance of some of them to participate the second year running. Also, she brought to notice the fact that AGEPI specialists will always be at entrepreneurs’ disposal for consultation, training and protection of intellectual property objects.
The purpose of this contest is to support and promote ideas of young people who want to develop their own businesses, thus contributing to social and economic development of our country. The participants in the Contest of Business Plans for Young People-2015 had the opportunity to compete for business initiation grants, gained knowledge in developing a successful business plan, and were supported and guided by professional mentors in the field.
The contest took place in the period March – June this year, in several stages, which included the selection of participants, training, written and verbal presentation of business plans and finally, the appointment of the 21 winners.
The Grand Prix – 180,000 lei – which was won by Micu Alexei with the business plan “Ecological nut with geographical indication”.
- Third place – 70 000 lei – 10 persons,
- Second place – 90 000 lei – 7 persons,
- First place – 120 000 lei – 3 persons.
During the Gala were presented success stories of young entrepreneurs, winners of the previous editions, who came with a few suggestions for the current finalists of the Contest.
