On November 24, 2025, pupils from grade XI A of the Republican Theoretical Lyceum “Aristotel” had the opportunity to participate in an information lesson on intellectual property protection, organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).
AGEPI representative, Ludmila COCIERU, Head of the International Trademarks Section, gave a detailed presentation on intellectual property (IP) to the pupils, familiarizing them with the key concepts in the field of IP. The presentation included a series of informative spots and examples from everyday life, demonstrating how important protecting trademarks, inventions and intellectual creations is for each of us to achieve personal and professional success.
Pupils were encouraged to ask questions, and the interactive atmosphere fostered an active exchange of ideas about the concepts of patents, trademarks or copyrights, and the importance of IP rights.
Pupils were also given promotional materials designed to support young people’s interest in the field of intellectual property and to encourage them to get involved in creative and innovative activities, including the Contest in the Field of Intellectual Property for Young People organized annually by AGEPI.
AGEPI aimed to raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property among young people by organizing the event, promoting creativity and innovation as essential pillars of a modern economy.
Intellectual property training is one of AGEPI’s key priorities, significantly contributing to the consolidation of an efficient IP rights protection and enforcement system.
