It was launched the Contest of Innovation and Technology Transfer Projects for 2016

Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova launched the Contest of Innovation and Technology Transfer Projects for 2016 with the objective of developing an economy based on innovation and transfer of new technologies by stimulating and developing innovational SMEs.

The innovation and technology transfer projects are financed from the state budget in a volume of at most 50%, giving priority to projects with higher share of co-financing from the own resources of the economic agent, which constitutes at least 50% of the total project budget.

The implementation period of the innovation and technology transfer projects is a maximum of 2 years.

SMEs and winning public institutions will benefit from 50% for the implementation of their project and business plan. Innovational business idea must be within the following strategic directions:

  • Materials, innovative technologies and products;
  • Efficiency, energy and use of energy renewable sources;
  • Health and biomedicine;
  • Biotechnology.

Thus, through this contest are created favorable conditions for the development of SMEs through application of innovations and new technologies; is encouraged the creation of innovative products on local and international market; is developed the innovational infrastructure; is ensured the connection between business and research environment; is promoted the innovation and technology transfer activity in the country and abroad.

The period for submission of projects is 05.01.2015 – 11.30. 2015.
