Ion Bulhac Was Awarded the National Award of the World Intellectual Property Organization for Inventors

The distinguished inventor and researcher in the field of chemistry, Ion Bulhac, received on March 21, at the headquarters of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), the official certificate of the National Award of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for Inventors. The certificate was presented by the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu.

Following a career of excellence in research and innovation, Ion Bulhac has accumulated an impressive portfolio of 52 patents in various fields, including coordination chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, plant physiology and microbiology. The WIPO Award for Inventors was awarded during the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, held on November 22-24, 2023, where his innovations were recognized and appreciated by the scientific community.

During the certificate presentation ceremony, the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu, sincerely congratulated the inventor for his achievements and significant contribution to scientific and technological progress. The WIPO certificate is a confirmation of its status as a leading innovation leader and an inspirational example for future generations of researchers and inventors.

We remind you that the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” was organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, the National Agency for Research and Development and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.

Almost 450 inventions, innovative projects and creative products were exhibited during the event, the authors of which come from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Poland, France, Malaysia, Taiwan, Cambodia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Ukraine and Belgium.

During the awards ceremony, the Commission of Experts and the Exhibition Jury awarded a total of 295 medals, of which 138 gold, 80 silver and 77 bronze, underlining the excellence and diversity of the innovations presented. Out of the total number of medals, 173 went to participants from the Republic of Moldova.
