The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in common with the central intellectual property offices of the Member States (Member States IPOs), has developed a study, in the context of the harmonization of national legislations, on definitions and representation requirements for the new types of trademarks, following the elimination of the requirement for graphic representation of trademarks.
