The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks in Romania (OSIM) and the Romanian Office for Copyright (ORDA), announces the organization of the Contest for Young People in the Field of Intellectual Property, 3rd edition.
Young people from the Republic of Moldova and Romania who study in the general, 9th - 12th grade, vocational, secondary and post-secondary vocational education institutions, can participate in the contest.
The aim of the contest is to promote the intellectual property system, to raise awareness of young people of counterfeiting and piracy phenomena, to develop skills and competitive spirit, to create a communication environment among young people interested in the field of intellectual property and to encourage the exchange of opinions and experience.
The contest takes place in three stages, as follows:
- Stage I: 26 April - 30 June 2019;
- Stage II: 1 July - 31 July 2019;
- Stage III (final): 5August – 1 September 2019.
During the first stage of the Contest, all participants will be admitted, who will register online at http://db.agepi.md/contest/Account/Register, by June 30. The link will be available starting from April 26.
During the second stage, the participants will answer a number of questions in the field of intellectual property. The list of questions will be available at http://db.agepi.md/contest/, only for those who have been admitted after the first stage of the Contest.
The participants who will pass the final stage of the Contest will prepare a communication in the field of intellectual property. Subsequently, the communications will be uploaded on the application http://db.agepi.md/contest/, by the deadline that will be indicated by the organizers within the application. The finalists will develop the communication in a more interactive way (examples: Power Point presentation, play, interview, movie, study, drawing, etc.), the maximum duration being 30 minutes. The works presented by students will be evaluated by the representatives of the partners, members of the Organizing Committee.
All participants of the 3rd stage of the Contest will receive participation diplomas and promotional materials from AGEPI and partners, and the first three participants will be awarded special prizes.
Prizes and diplomas will be handed over by the Organizing Committee within the framework of an awarding ceremony.
