On January 1, 2015, will enter into force a new rule and other amendments to the Common Regulations under the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks and the Protocol Relating to that Agreement (the Common Regulations) that the Assembly of the Madrid Union adopted at its forty-eighth (28th extraordinary) session, which took place in Geneva from September 22 to 30, 2014.
