Specialists from the Patents Department of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) are participating, from 15 to 17 November this year, in 2 online training sessions organized by the European Patent Office (EPO). The subject of the guidance sessions relates to patenting in the field of wind energy.
The examiners in the field of patenting of inventions are supposed to discuss with the EPO representatives the developments in the technological field, the research strategy, the patenting procedure in the field of wind energy, to study practical cases, as well as to address other topics relevant to the field of activity.
This October, specialists from the Patents Department participated in two other online training sessions on the patenting of electric vehicles.
The sessions are part of the Action Plan signed by the EPO and AGEPI for the years 2022-2023, with the aim of developing the institutional capacities of AGEPI, including the access of specialists to professional training programs in the field of patent administration and examination, organized by the EPO Academy, as well as supporting activities to promote innovations.
The Republic of Moldova has been cooperating with the European Patent Organization for more than 25 years. The EPO supported and continues to support the efforts of the Republic of Moldova in the process of harmonizing the national patent system with the European one, providing technical and legal assistance to strengthen the capacities of AGEPI to implement the validation system in the Republic of Moldova.
