The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the 22nd edition of the International Exhibition of Scientific Research, Innovation and Invention PRO INVENT in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, which took place from October 15 to 17, 2025. PRO INVENT is one of the most prestigious international exhibitions in the region, dedicated to promoting research, innovation and creativity results.

The event, organized by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, was a distinguished meeting place for inventors, researchers, academia and the business community. This year, the Exhibition brought together around 50 participants from Romania and abroad, representing universities, institutes, centers, etc., who exhibited over 350 works.

Over the course of three days, both the general public and innovation specialists had the opportunity to admire innovations from various fields, such as electronics, engineering, artificial intelligence, medicine, cosmetics, agriculture, food, energy and environmental protection.

AGEPI participated in the event with an informative stand, providing visitors with information about the intellectual property protection system in the Republic of Moldova, in particular about the validation of European patents on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, promotional materials were distributed.

AGEPI specialists also launched a special invitation for all those interested in participating in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, which will take place from December 3 to 5, 2025. This exhibition is another large-scale event that highlights innovations, technological discoveries and research projects.

Traditionally, AGEPI representatives selected and mentioned with gold medals several inventions presented during the Exhibition and awarded a diploma of mention for the promotion of innovations, inventiveness and intellectual property. Thus, 2 AGEPI gold medals were awarded to the inventions presented by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and, respectively, the National Institute for Research and Development in Environmental Protection Bucharest. The AGEPI diploma of mention was awarded to the National Institute for Research and Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry - ICECHIM Bucharest.

For its contribution to the promotion of inventiveness and support for inventors, AGEPI received a diploma of appreciation from the organizers.

The PROINVENT exhibition remains a reference forum for researchers, inventors, universities and companies, offering them a valuable platform to present their innovations and technological projects, as well as to interact with potential partners or investors, interested in the practical application of the results of research, innovation and human creativity.

AGEPI’s participation in PRO INVENT 2025 represented a valuable opportunity to promote intellectual property as an essential pillar of the development of innovation and economic competitiveness.
