The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated, on May 7, 2026, in a Webinar on Intellectual Property Protection for Export-Oriented Businesses, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI of RM), within the framework of the “Exporters Academy” program.
The event brought together representatives of manufacturing and service providing companies that carry out export activities or intend to access new foreign markets, with the aim of consolidating knowledge on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights in the context of international business development.
On behalf of AGEPI, the webinar was attended by Andrei Moisei, principal specialist in the Promotion and Training Section, who presented relevant information on the importance of protecting intellectual property objects for export-oriented companies, the available tools for protecting trademarks, industrial designs, as well as the risks associated with the lack of intellectual property asset protection in foreign markets.
The participants had the opportunity to learn more about the role of intellectual property in strengthening the competitiveness of goods and services, as well as about the protection mechanisms available at the national and international levels.
We should note that in February 2012 AGEPI and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova signed a cooperation agreement that provides for the joint organization of activities for the promotion and dissemination of information in the field of intellectual property.
