The seventh edition of the Mass Media Forum of the Republic of Moldova is held on 22-23 November, 2022, in Chisinau.

The event is convened annually with the aim of debating the problems of the Moldovan journalistic community, identifying and promoting solutions to strengthen editorial independence and mass media quality.

The Forum is attended by journalists, editors, media managers, other collaborators of editorial boards of the Republic of Moldova, representatives of authorities, media organizations and associations, advertising agencies, the academic environment related to journalistic professional training, etc.

During the two days of the Forum, debates, workshops and networking activities take place on current topics among journalists, and following the discussions the Forum Resolution will be approved.

During the first day of the event, the Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), Eugeniu Rusu, participated in the Workshop “The Copy-Paste Phenomenon in Journalism: What Solutions Are There?”, where the unauthorized reproduction of journalistic content was discussed. In his intervention, Eugeniu Rusu highlighted that the intellectual work product of a journalist is protected by the Law on Copyright and Related Rights, and any copying of the work without the consent of the authors is considered a violation of this right.
