The Summer Course 2022 for students passionate about the field of design was launched on July 18 in the premises of the Technical University of Moldova.
The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participates as a partner of the course, which takes place from 18 to 25 July and is organized by the local group BEST Chisinau - a student organization within the Technical University of Moldova.
In the opening of the event, Andrei Popa, Deputy Director General of AGEPI, welcomed the initiative to organize such events and wished the participants much success. AGEPI is ready at any time to offer protection to designs and industrial models that meet the condition of novelty and have an individual character. All conditions have been created to support young people, for example, within AGEPI, pupils, students and doctoral students are exempted from paying fees for the registration of intellectual property objects. I want to assure you that you, the youth, are the innovators, the creators and the professionals of tomorrow. The professions of the future are already a reality, and continuous development/research is the only way to stay informed.
Finally, he mentioned that the students will benefit, during the summer courses, from an informative workshop in the field of industrial designs, presented by an AGEPI specialist.
The course, which aims to create a magazine, will include workshops with specialists in fields such as mass media, graphic design, intellectual property, and also social activities, networking and team building.
