AGEPI participated in the First Technological Festival organized in Chisinau

On 28 May this year, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated with an informational stand in the Chisinau Mini Maker Faire, a technological festival organized by Atelier 99 / FabLab Moldova, at the Tekwill Information Technology Excellence Center. Agency specialists have provided consultations and promoted the system of protection of intellectual property in the Republic of Moldova.

The purpose of the event was to inform, connect and expand the community of enthusiasts in technology, creators and innovators. Within the Festival were organized exhibition areas with technological projects, with workshops and master classes for the participants.

During the presentation session organized within the event, Iurie Badar, Head of Training Division, AGEPI, spoke to young people about the need for legal protection of intellectual creations, a necessary tool for innovative activity.

In the list of speakers there were some international projects and names. Thus, Josef Dunne talked about the latest trends in 3D printing, the HUB LAB team in Odessa presented 15 technological prototypes, including drones, vacuum cleaners, racing and kitchen robots, created in the ImpactLab Technological Laboratory, and the FabLab Fabricator demonstrated product possibilities: Magic Mirror - a personal assistant who will show plans for the next day, weather, time, etc.
