The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the 10th edition of the European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation EUROINVENT, which took place from 17 to 19 May in Iasi, Romania. 570 inventions and research topics from over 40 countries were presented at the exhibition.
The event was organized by the Romanian Inventors Forum of the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University, the Association for Ecology and Sustainable Development “Europe Direct” Iasi and the “Al. I. Cuza” University.
AGEPI was present at the exhibition with an information stand. AGEPI specialists offered consultations on the theoretical and practical aspects of protection of intellectual property objects in the Republic of Moldova and distributed promotional materials to both exhibitors and visitors. Also, AGEPI specialists have launched the invitation to participate in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, sixteenth edition, to be held in November 2019.
Also, at the current edition of EUROINVENT, the inventors’ community in the Republic of Moldova has had a significant presence, among the participants being inventors from universities and research institutions such as the Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection, the Institute of Physiology and Sanocreatology, Botanical Garden Institute, as well as representatives of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “N. Testemitanu”, the Technical University of Moldova, the National Scientific and Practical Emergency Medicine Center, etc. The works presented by the inventors and researchers from the Republic of Moldova enjoyed a high appreciation of the Jury, being distinguished with gold, silver, bronze medals and special prizes.
Traditionally, AGEPI has selected and mentioned with distinctions three of the most interesting inventions presented at the exhibition.
