On 19 August this year, the Interim Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) Andrei POPA and the President of the Public Association (PA) “Business Consultancy Center” Anatolie PALADE signed a cooperation agreement in the field of property intellectual (PI).

By signing this Agreement, AGEPI and PA “Business Consultancy Center” wish to highlight the need and importance of developing the skills of local entrepreneurs and producers in the field of intellectual property, in particular for the registration of trademarks, industrial design and the exploitation of the potential of products with geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialties guaranteed.

Thus, the parties have agreed to make every effort to highlight the advantages and benefits of registering and enforcing intellectual property rights, so that they may add economic value to companies.

The Parties will strengthen their efforts with a view to efficiently use the intellectual and material potential available to them in the process of promoting the national intellectual property system, facilitating access to information of mutual interest and organizing joint actions on topics within their competence.

We should mention that “Business Consultancy Center” is a Public Association, which aims to develop rural communities and sustainable social infrastructure in the Republic of Moldova, having experience in consulting for start-up entrepreneurs and facilitating access to external financial resources by the start-up enterprises without credit history.
