The 27-30 January 2010, in the IEC „Moldexpo” will take place the ninth edition of the multifunctional National Exhibition „Made in Moldova”, one of the most important exhibition of Moldova with the participation of economic agents in different fields. The last years the mentioned forum became a tool to promote local goods and services, establishing contacts for business collaboration in the country and abroad.
The agenda of the exhibition provides round tables, presentations of companies and products, seminars with the participation of specialists in the country and abroad, representatives of public authorities, which will tackle current economic issues. The exhibition proposes solutions to problems of marketing and promotion of Moldovan products, gives the public opportunity to purchase quality local products, influences consumer choice and the wholesale and retail trade enterprises, directing them to local producers, stimulates production of competitive and quality goods.
The 2009 edition of universal national exhibition “Made in Moldova” was attended by 400 economic entities in all sectors of the economy and the exhibition area exceeded 2400 square meters. During the exhibition “Made in Moldova-2009” were held 2 business forums, 2 seminars, 9 round tables that have addressed various aspects of business and attended by over 1000 specialists. The event had a considerable social resonance, being visited by over 40 thousand people from all over the republic, as well as guests from Belarus, Romania, Russia and Ukraine.
State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will take part in the national exhibition with an informational stand “Intellectual property protection system in Moldova”. AGEPI specialists will give economic agents, participants in the exhibition, competent advices on recent changes in the national legislation on IP, following harmonization with the requirements of the acquis communautaire in the field; modes of protection of intellectual property objects in the country and abroad; will provide an opportunity for consultation via web databases AGEPI in the national and international field; will familiarize the public with methods of making preliminary documentary research in the field of IP, etc.
Traditionally, in the frame of the exhibition will be held distinctions ceremony of the “Trademark of the Year”, which organizers are CCI and AGEPI.
