AGEPI, present at the Deeptech Training of Trainers in the Field of IP

24.08.2026

On August 21, 2026, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the training “Training of Trainers (ToT) - Strengthening Deeptech Capacities for EU-aligned Innovation in Moldova”, organized during August 21–22, 2026 at Moldova Digital Park in Chisinau by P.I. Technovator, with the support of the Swiss PartnershIP Moldova project.

The event brought together a group of 15 mentors from the Republic of Moldova, with the objective of consolidating knowledge and developing practical skills, including in the field of intellectual property, aligned with European Union standards and practices, skills that are essential for ensuring quality mentoring within GigaHack 2026. At the same time, the training constituted an information and training platform for the development of a future National Technology Transfer Office (TTO).

AGEPI was represented by Andrei Moisei, principal specialist in the Promotion and Training Section, who provided participants with clarifications on the institution’s competencies, services and tools, as well as information on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights.

AGEPI’s participation in the event contributed to strengthening the institution’s visibility, promoting the role of intellectual property in the innovation and technology transfer ecosystem and facilitating a direct dialogue with mentors, entrepreneurs and actors involved in the development of the field.

The activity is part of AGEPI’s actions carried out within the Swiss PartnershIP Moldova project, aiming to strengthen the knowledge of creators and entrepreneurs in the field of intellectual property and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the efficient use of intellectual property, as a tool for innovation, competitiveness and sustainable development.
