The State Agency on Intellectual Property announces the publication of the National Report on the Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the Republic of Moldova for 2025. The document provides an updated picture of the efforts of the authorities and institutional partners to strengthen an efficient IPR protection and enforcement system.

The report, now in its 14th edition, is prepared annually by the Observatory on Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, with the support of the responsible institutions in the field. It includes statistical data, analyses and examples of good practices in combating counterfeiting and piracy, as well as initiatives to educate and raise public awareness.

A separate chapter is dedicated to international cooperation, through projects such as the EU Project “Strengthening Intellectual Property Rights in Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine” (EU4IP) and the Moldovan-Swiss Intellectual Property Project (MSIP), which contribute to harmonizing national legislation with European standards and strengthening institutional capacities.

The report emphasizes the importance of cooperation between public authorities, the private sector and international organizations in creating a secure and innovation-friendly economic climate. The publication of this document reconfirms the commitment of the Republic of Moldova to respect intellectual property rights and to support competitiveness on the domestic and foreign markets.
