The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on April 9, 2026, in training activities in the field of preventing and combating corruption, organized at the initiative of the National Anticorruption Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.

The trainings were conducted in the context of the implementation of the actions provided for in the National Programme for the Accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union for the years 2025–2029, approved by Government Decision No 306/2025, in particular within Chapter 23 “Judicial System and Fundamental Rights” and Chapter 7 “Intellectual Property Law”.

The training activities were intended for leaders and employees of institutions in the justice sector, including AGEPI, with the aim of consolidating knowledge in the field of institutional integrity, preventing corruption risks and applying relevant national and European standards.

The trainings addressed topics related to the normative framework in the field of preventing and combating corruption, mechanisms for ensuring institutional integrity, as well as best practices in the field. At the same time, participants had the opportunity to discuss practical aspects and exchange experiences on the management of corruption risks in professional activity.

AGEPI’s participation in these activities reflects the institution’s commitment to promoting an organizational culture based on integrity, transparency and accountability, thus contributing to the consolidation of a credible intellectual property system aligned with European standards.
