The National Science and Engineering Fair “Mold SEF”, 10th edition, was held from 25 to 27 February 2022, in online format.

The Contest “Mold SEF” is organized annually by the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation within the Ministry of Education and Research, in partnership with the National Association of ICT Companies and with the support of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI). Its purpose is to identify and develop multiple intelligences in students, to increase interest in the study of mathematics, physics, computer science, chemistry, biology, natural sciences, technical sciences and engineering.

The opening ceremony was also attended by the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu, who wished the participants great success. “It has become a tradition for AGEPI to participate as a partner in organizing the prestigious contest in order to support and promote creativity and innovation among the young generation. I am glad that, from year to year, this competition is expanding, increasing the number of participants and projects presented, which indicates an increase in young people’s interest in research. Young people of today are the innovators, the creators and the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The role of young innovators in designing a sustainable future is being realized at the highest IP forum - the World Intellectual Property Organization, which declared the main theme of World Intellectual Property Day 2022: Intellectual Property and Youth - Innovating for a Better Future. We invite you to join us to celebrate the ingenuity, creativity, vision and courage of young creators, inventors and entrepreneurs around the world to build a better future,” said Eugeniu Rusu.
