Exhibition of TUM students’ creative works entitled “Creation Opens the Universe”

On 17 and 18 May 2013, at the Technical University of Moldova, in the Exhibition Hall on the campus “Rascani” was held the Exhibition of creative works of TUM students entitled “Creation Opens the Universe”.

The event brought together representatives of economic agents, teachers, pupils of lyceum graduate grades and students, who had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the creative works of TUM students in the following areas: energy, electronics and telecommunications, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, mechanics, transport, industrial and fashion design, etc.

The inauguration of the event was attended by TUM rector, academician Ion Bostan, Prime Vice President of ASM, academician Ion Tighineanu, Deputy Director General of AGEPI Ion Tiganas, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Moldcell Company, Free Economic Area in Balti, professors and students of TUM.

In his address to the participants, Ion Tiganas, Deputy Director General of AGEPI, underlined that he admires TUM leadership’s intention to organize a platform for interaction of the young generation, which enables them to manifest. In this context, AGEPI Deputy Director General called upon the youth to not stop at the stage of ideas, but to implement them, protecting them from a possible theft by registering them with the AGEPI.

In order to support and stimulate technical creative activity of students, the works presented in the exhibition were assessed with various diplomas and prizes. The Jury Commission estimating the creative works of TUM students included representatives of TUM teaching staff, experts of the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova, creative student organization BEST/TUM.

In the exhibition were awarded Diplomas of TUM students-winners of the National Technical Contest in mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics, fine art, of the Contest “Young Creator” in the fields “Technical Creativity” and “Artistic Creativity” and competition energy conversion machines “Rube Goldberg-2013”.

AGEPI Diploma and Cup for the most original technical creation of TUM students, accompanied by a monetary award, were presented to the team of authors Danelciuc Vadim and Serghei Topa, students at the Mechanical Engineering and Transport Department, for the cycle of technical creations “Velomobiles”, developed under the guidance of Professor Ilie Manoli, by Petru Grosu, Deputy Director of Inventions and Plant Varieties Department of AGEPI, member of the Jury Commission.

Under understandings established by AGEPI and UTM management, the best works presented at the Exhibition of TUM students’ engineering works will be exhibited at the International Specialized Exhibition “Infoinvent”, thirteenth edition, in the section “Creation of Youth”, which will take place on 19-22 November 2013.
