The first expertise transfer mission organized within the framework of cooperation between AGEPI and the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) will be held from September 8 to 10, 2026, at the headquarters of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI). The mission is dedicated to digital transformation and the development of electronic services in the field of intellectual property.

The event takes place within the framework of the “Transfer of Expertise in the Field of European Affairs” Project, carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, in cooperation with the Agency for International Development Cooperation - RoAid, and financed under the Annual Plan on International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance for 2026.

During the three days, OSIM experts and AGEPI specialists will exchange experience and best practices on the digitalization of intellectual property services, the implementation of IT solutions and interoperability with European and international systems.

The exchange of experience has a practical and interactive character, offering specialists from the two institutions the opportunity to analyze common challenges and identify solutions for the modernization of intellectual property services and the streamlining of internal processes.

The first mission marks the beginning of a series of OSIM–AGEPI expertise transfer activities, which will take place until the end of October 2026 and will cover several priority areas for the Republic of Moldova in the field of intellectual property.

These activities contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two offices and to developing the institutional capacities of AGEPI, in line with the objectives of the National Accession Program 2025–2029 and with the process of approximating the national intellectual property system to European Union standards and practices.
