The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in a Workshop held within the framework of the course “Innovation Management”, with the theme “The Place and Role of Intellectual Property in the Knowledge-Based Society”. The event was organized jointly with the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) and brought together third-year students of the Business and Administration specialty.

AGEPI representative, Andrei Moisei, principal consultant in the Communication and Training Division, delivered a detailed presentation on intellectual property (IP), emphasizing its importance in the development of the knowledge-based society. Interactive activities were also held to promote and disseminate information related to the protection of IP rights.

Training in the field of intellectual property is one of the key priorities of AGEPI, significantly contributing to the consolidation of an efficient system of protection and enforcement of IP rights.

We recall that, in April 2011, AGEPI and ASEM concluded a Cooperation Agreement that provides for the promotion of intellectual property by engaging the most qualified specialists in the field in the process of training and improving the skills of teachers and students within ASEM.

Workshops of this type contribute to increasing the level of knowledge in the field of intellectual property, essential for the training of future professionals in the field of business and administration.
