The State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on February 28, 2022, in an information session in the field of intellectual property (IP), organized by the Public Association Educational Center PRO DIDACTICA.
The purpose of the seminar was to consolidate knowledge in the field of intellectual property protection among teachers and managers in pre-university education institutions.
During the event, the AGEPI specialist, Andrei Moisei, principal consultant, Communication and Training Division, acquainted the teachers with aspects related to the creation, protection and management of intellectual property in educational institutions. Also, the participants in the event were informed about some details related to the enforcement and importance of IP rights. Andrei Moisei spoke about IP as a tool to use the results of intellectual creations generated in the training, innovation and intellectual property management process familiarizing participants, through practical examples, with the simplest and most useful ways to enforce and use them.
The event allowed those present to better understand the benefits of the intellectual property protection system. The participants also stressed the importance of organizing information seminars in the field of intellectual property for teachers and managers.
We mention that, in January of this year, AGEPI and the Public Association - Educational Center PRO DIDACTICA signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of intellectual property. Following the signing of this Agreement, the institutions have strengthened their efforts with a view to effectively use their intellectual and material potential in the process of promoting the national intellectual property system, facilitating access to information of mutual interest and organizing joint actions on topics of mutual interest.
