The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated, on May 16-18, in the 11th Edition of the European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation EUROINVENT, which took place in Iasi, Romania. More than 620 inventions and research projects from 42 countries, grouped in 14 categories (environment and pollution control; energy and sustainable development; agriculture and food industry; medicine, health, cosmetics; industrial and laboratory equipment; mechanical engineering, metallurgy; construction and building materials; aviation, machinery and transport industry; chemical and textile industry; information and communication technology; printing and advertising; safety, protection and saving of persons; sports, games and leisure; others).
The event was organized by the Romanian Inventors Forum, Association for Ecology and Sustainable Development, through the Europe Direct Information Center in Iasi, Gh. Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Al. I. Cuza University of Iasi, in partnership with Gr. T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, National Institute for Research and Development in Environmental Protection and in cooperation with G. Enescu National University of Arts, Iasi.
AGEPI was present at the exhibition with an informational stand. AGEPI specialists provided consultations on the theoretical and practical aspects of protection of intellectual property objects in the Republic of Moldova and distributed promotional materials to both exhibitors and visitors. Also, AGEPI specialists launched the invitation to participate in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, 16th edition, to be held in November 2019.
At the current edition of EUROINVENT, the inventors’ community of the Republic of Moldova had a significant presence, among participants being found inventors from universities and research institutions, such as the Technical University of Moldova, State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “N. Testemitanu”, State University of Moldova, Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection, Institute of Physiology and Sanocreatology, as well as representatives of the Public Association “Junior Achievement Moldova”, etc. The works presented by the inventors and researchers from the Republic of Moldova enjoyed a high appreciation of the jury, being distinguished with gold, silver, bronze medals and special prizes.
Traditionally, AGEPI selected and mentioned with distinction three of the most interesting inventions presented at the exhibition.
