15 students from the State University of Moldova (SUM), Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (AESM) and the International Relations Institute of Moldova (IRIM) were able to carry out their internship in the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).
For a month, trainees were familiarized with the activities of the institution, including the procedures for submitting and processing applications, regulatory and legislative activity in the field of intellectual property, aspects of copyright and related rights protection in Moldova, etc., which allowed the theoretical concepts acquired during the classes to be applied more effectively.
Also, together with AGEPI specialists and lawyers, students participated in several events carried out in the Agency and various hearings by the court on the margins of litigation in the field of intellectual property.
Finally, the trainees expressed their gratitude and thanks for the kind and respectful attitude to employees of the institution.
By organizing annually the internship program, AGEPI aims to boost the training of qualified staff, this being one of the priority directions of the national strategy in the field of IP until 2020, and to come to meet young people who wish to take the first step in their career.
