On 27 September this year, starting at 16:00, in the square of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will be held the “Researchers’ Night-2013”, the largest European project for science and research. The event is organized under the aegis of ASM, Center for International Projects and Logistics Agency “Age Quod Agis” with the extraordinary participation of research and higher education institutions.
The project is supported by European funds in the framework of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community for Research and Technological Development (FP7) and takes place simultaneously in over 300 European cities.
So, for one night, researchers and the general public will meet in an atmosphere that stimulates discovery of science through entertaining and educational activities, in an event where everyone can be a scientist. The project “Researchers’ Night” is open to all age categories. There will be presentations of products made from recycled material and discussions with all participants, regardless of their scientific training, which would result in encouraging young people to pursue a scientific career.
“Researchers’ Night”, organized within the MORE4U project, is the first in the Republic of Moldova and is one of the most popular initiatives of the European Union, which brings together scientists with the general public, who have common interests and try to combine in a funny and friendly manner knowledge from different fields of science.
State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) will participate as a partner in the organization of the event and will present an information stand dedicated to the national intellectual property system in the Republic of Moldova and will give participants qualified advice on how to protect intellectual property objects in the country and abroad. Also, by the AGEPI stand stakeholders will find relevant information on the conditions for participation in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT-2013”, which will take place on November 19-22 at the IEC “Moldexpo”, where will be exhibited inventions, products and technologies, plant varieties, industrial designs, handicrafts and crafts, developed in the last two years .
