On 17 November this year, the Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) Lilia Bolocan had a meeting with the Delegation of the Intellectual Property Office of Montenegro (IPOM), headed by the IPOM Interim Director Valentina Radulović.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the bilateral relations between AGEPI and IPOM, including through the intensification of exchanges of experiences and practices, establishment of direct contacts between the specialists of the two Offices, as well as mutual support within the international and regional organizations.
Thus, during the meeting, AGEPI and IPOM delegations exchanged information on recent developments in the field of intellectual property in the Republic of Moldova and Montenegro reviewing the successes attained by the offices as well as the challenges they are facing at the current stage to achieve the objectives.
During the meeting, the priority directions of the cooperation between AGEPI and IPOM in the field of development and consolidation of the national intellectual property protection systems were also identified.
The visit to Chisinau took place in the context of participation of the IPOM delegation in the events organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property within the week dedicated to the 15th edition of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, which takes place from 15 to 18 November, at Moldexpo, including in the Innovation Conference entitled “Intellectual Property - Innovations - Quality of Life”, in which the IPOM Director shared the experience of promoting the innovative activity of the Intellectual Property Office of Montenegro.
