In current period of May 13-17, International Exhibition Center „Moldexpo” in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, is organizing three international exhibitions“Food & Drinks”, “Food Technology” and “Packaging. Depot” specialized in food and raw materials for their production, equipment and technologies for production and food processing, packaging, packing materials and technologies. Exhibitions of “Food & Drinks”, “Food Technology” for many years lead the strategic of development of Food domain of the Republic of Мoldova.

In the frame of the exhibition will be organized seminars, round tables, company presentations and product tastings, thematic competitions (professional contest “Delicious” for food products, the open competition “The most popular product” and “The novelty of the year”.

The State Agency on Intellectual Property will provide a promotional stand which will present various materials on intellectual property protection system in Moldova and abroad, and will render consulting on field.

On May 15, starting at 10. 00, AGEPI in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry will organize a seminar with the theme “Geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialties guaranteed - new opportunities to promote local products in domestic and foreign markets”. The purpose of the event consists in informing economic agents about the benefits system for protecting geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialties guaranteed, and the provisions of national legislation on intellectual property protection of such objects.
