In the frame of the exhibition “Made in Moldova - 2009” there took place the official ceremony of nomination of the winners of the VII-th Competition “The trademark of the year”, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the State Agency on Intellectual Property.
In the current exhibition took part about 90 enterprises, and the Grand Prix „Mercuriul de Aur” obtained 37 enterprises, the holders of the most successful trademarks. 24 enterprises were awarded gold and silver medals. There were also grated six special gold medals „Patrimoniul Republicii”. At the current edition there were included in the competition the new nominations: „Nume Nou”, „Profi”, „Reputatie si Incredere”.
The Prime-minister Vlad Filat sent greetings to the winners and wished them successes in their activity assuring them that the Government will create all conditions in order to develop also in the future their business through implementing the Program of Stabilization and launching the economy as well as through the liberalization of commerce.
Among the laureates of the Grand Prix „Mercuriul de aur–2009” there are awarded factories „Ionel” and „Tricon”, enterprise „Cricova”, operators of mobile phons „Orange” and„Moldcell”, enterprise „Enteh”, the Moldova-Germany company „Suedzucker-Moldova”, „Viorica-Cosmetic”, „Floare-Carpet” etc.
The competition “The trademark of the year” foundthe most efficient ways of promotion of the trademarks, originality of the brands creator’s minds, as well as the level of trademarks recognizing among the consumers.
From 2003 up to now in the competition “The trademark of the year” took part 600 project of 14 regions of the country, as well of Chisinau and Balti. In total nearly 160 trademarks were awarded prizes at the different nominations of the competition.
